Crafting pixels into a cohesive design
Last years I’ve worked and studied as a UX-Designer. Below are a few projects I’ve worked on.
Collectify is an online platform which believes in the power of the people!
The idea of Collectify is to profit of group discounts but still be able to go on your own. For example: a group of people buys 100 tickets at once at a company. Usually the company offers group discounts when you buy their tickets in large quantities. That’s where Collectify comes in. They enable it for individuals to still profit from group discounts. For more information about that, visit www.collectify.nl
web / responsive mobile design
Telling the government by speech that you’re gonna change your address.
This project came out after heavy research. Centric wanted to know if they could implement a voice based design in their products to prepare for the future. As I went on to do research I could conclude that native dutch speakers did not want change their address using their voice for various reasons. Neither did deaf or hearing impaired people. But there is one group who wants to do this: expats and people who do not speak dutch. Using technology, they can now do it in their own language.
How? By using Google Assistant. Google Assistant can be combined with a session on the website and communicate with it. The user could say something in e.g. spanish and Google translates that to dutch and replies back in spanish.
Web & Google Assistant
The result I delivered is an advice report and a hifi prototype which works exactly as it would work when it is fully developed. I designed and prototyped both the website and google assistant using Adobe XD. The prototype is still completely clickable as wel as completely usable with voice.
